Supporting Those Who’ve Served: Why We Partner with VAREP
At Midas Corp, we believe in building more than homes — we’re here to build community, connection, and opportunity.
That’s why we’re proud to support the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) and their mission to increase sustainable homeownership, financial literacy, and career opportunities for U.S. veterans and military families.
This summer, we had the honor of sponsoring a hole at the Annual VAREP Golf Tournament — one of the organization’s most impactful local fundraisers. We joined dozens of other real estate and construction professionals for a day of community, camaraderie, and a few very competitive rounds of cornhole (naturally).
But this partnership goes far beyond one event.
Who Is VAREP?
The Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals is a national nonprofit made up of real estate, lending, and housing industry professionals who are passionate about serving those who served us.
Their mission includes:
Increasing veteran homeownership through education and resources
Promoting financial literacy for transitioning service members
Supporting VA loan awareness and education
Encouraging careers in housing and construction for veterans
They work locally and nationally to connect veterans with the tools, professionals, and partners they need to succeed.
Why It Matters to Us
At Midas, we build homes — but we also build purpose into everything we do.
Many of our trade partners, employees, and clients have military ties, and we’re proud to stand behind organizations like VAREP that ensure veterans are not left behind in the housing market.
We also share a common goal: making sure that buying, building, and maintaining a home feels possible — and achievable — for everyone who’s earned it.
Whether it’s through education, employment, or opportunity, VAREP is helping shape a housing industry that’s more inclusive, accessible, and veteran-ready.

A Great Day for a Great Cause
The VAREP Golf Tournament was more than a fun day on the green (though the weather was perfect and our Midas swag baskets weren’t bad either ).
It was a chance to:
Connect with like-minded builders, agents, and vendors
Help raise funds for veteran-focused housing initiatives
Celebrate the spirit of service and teamwork that makes our community strong
We were especially proud to showcase our Alamar Subdivision, hand out a few custom gifts, and hear stories from local veterans who’ve benefited directly from VAREP’s support.
